EDF Turkey Dance Fest
• Location: Eskişehir, Turkey
• Dates: February 20-24, 2025
Summary:
EDF is a massive festival featuring over 200 artists and DJs, more than 100 workshops, and parties that run until dawn. Held at the luxurious TASIGO Hotel, it includes five party halls!
Why I like it: The Turkish scene has a lot of upcoming talent, and you will encounter amazing dancers you haven’t danced with before! Also I like that there are salsa (and hip-hop!) battles organised.
Bergen Mambo Weekend
• Location: Bergen, Norway
• Dates: March 14-16, 2025
Summary:
Bergen Mambo Weekend is an intimate celebration of salsa and bachata. Held at the Scandic Bergen hotel, the event is one of a kind in Norway.
Why I like it: A smaller event in a scenic location will for sure provide a more personal and cozy experience. I really enjoy the smaller events at times, since it gives more time to connect with the community!
BIG International Milan
• Location: Milan, Italy
• Dates: March 27–31, 2025
Summary:
BIG International Milan offers a luxury dance experience at the Grand Hotel Barone di Sassj. The BIG organisation is #1 in the USA and are finally expanding to Europe, bringing the finest artists with them. Collaborating with Marco Ferrigno, they will for sure deliver a unique experience.
Why I like it: The dance level in Milan is outstanding. Also, I am super excited for what BIG will bring to Europe, given their impressive reputation in the USA.
Salsa Spring Festival
• Location: Greece
• Dates: 22-25 May, 2025
Summary:
The largest event in Greece, Salsa Spring is now moving to the luxury resort Aldemar Olympic village. Day time socials by the pool, competitions, one of the best show stages in Europe, and thousands of visitors. This is a prime experience!
Why I like it: Greece is my favorite country to dance; high-level and friendly dancers, passion, amazing weather and delicious food. This event takes the best of it all, and I cannot wait to go.
Berlin Salsa Congress
• Location: Berlin, Germany
• Dates: August 28-30, 2025
Summary:
A well known name in the European scene, the impressive Tempodrom offers a great location for workshops and socials. With a carefully selected line up of artists who also love to social dance, this long running event is always a succes. Also known for starting and ending its socials early, the concept tries to make more use of your time!
Why I like it: Because of its brand and good reputation, you will find many of your favorite dancers at this event every year. The stargate competitions in particular are very well attended and always a highlight of the weekend. Also I appreciate the effort of diverse artist and DJ line ups every year.
Salsa Rave
• Location: Barcelona
• Dates: September 11-14
Summary:
Salsa Rave comes from Cobeatparty, a collective of DJs who arose in the pandemic to deliver joy with their fine selection of salsa music. These are the best salsa DJs in the world and only have one goal for their event: have you dance and feel the love for salsa music.
Why I like it: Out of all events, I already know this one will have the best music for my taste. They call it a rave for a reason; they get the crows exctatic. I think you just have to experience this to understand it.
Salsa King Festival
• Location: Kos, Greece
• Dates: 17-21 September
Summary:
The Salsa King Festival is hosting their first edution after the incredible success of its Bachata counterpart. In the Kipriotis village resort, there will be all the top Greek artists, day time socials, a salsanama competition and boat parties.
Why I like it: They have proven their ability to put down a #1 event and I cannot wait for the salsa community to find out about this one. Just when you think summer is over, there’s this event, in my favorite country… This will be incredible.
Istanbul Salsa Marathon

- Dates: 8-13 October
Summary
Massive SBK event with an organiser who is passionate to gather the best dancers of the world. Outdoor poolparties, massive workshop options and top tier line up make it one of the most ambitious projects in Turkey
Why I like it
The organiser has a track record of prioritizing the experience of his guests, and it shows in his events. While this will be my first visit to this particular event of his, I have already been excited about it for months because of all the good stories I have been told.
